Cicadas

They’re here! Check out a couple of these cicada shots my friend Eric captured. I’m no Brant Miller, but I figured I’d pass them along. It must be sweet to be a dog when these things finally come out of the ground. To us, it would be like the streets being paved with delicious cheeseburgers, which also happen to be high in protein. I actually still have a cicada preserved from 1990—part of my cicada collection which up until now has been seriously lacking. After this year, I’ll have two.

What A Weekend

sox.jpgcubs.jpg

It was a busy weekend for the Matt Dahl Show. Friday night we had a great time broadcasting live from Yak-Zie’s, and we even managed to get a couple drinks in before doing it again Saturday morning at 6am. Saturday night of course was the big Steve Dahl and the Dahlfin’s show at Cubby Bear North, where we also engaged in ample partying.

Sunday found Mike Dahl and I at Wrigley Field, hoping to make all those people who came out with large cumbersome brooms feel somewhat embarrassed. I know we lost the series, but winning one is better than none at all. We had some pretty sweet seats right behind the Cub’s bullpen, which allowed me to heckle Neil Cotts full force as he was heading to the mound in the seventh. I’d like to think I played a major role in his horrible showing out there, leading to the A.J. Pierzynski grand slam. Congratulations to the Cubs for winning the series, but we’ll get you on the South Side.

Atlantis Tonight

Atlantislogo.gif

Tonight is the big night! Matt and Brendan are headed to the Atlantis Gentlemen’s Club for one hell of a night. We’ll be there around 10 or so, if you care to join us. Atlantis is located at:

1897 E. Lincoln Highway
Ford Heights, IL. 60411

It is sure to be a good time, as the great people of Atlantis are sending a Limo for B-Grizzle (that’s how we talk in the Limo) and myself, as well as hooking us up with some ‘Funny Money’. I can assure you there is nothing funny about what we are going to be doing with that stuff, only incredibly serious, highly erotic, sometimes sexual, things. See you there.

Authorities are calling for Paris Hilton’s incarceration, stemming from a probation violation for some alcohol related reckless driving. Is there any better kind of reckless driving? I think not. I don't think I'd mind if Paris Hilton crashing into me, especially if she was drunk. That would be my best chance to make it happen, as I could offer to overlook the damages for some drunken sexual favors.

You may recall after the drunk driving charges came to light, I proposed the idea of a Simple Life season along the lines of The Simple Life: Behind Bars, and I still think that it’s a great idea. I’m talking a little communal shower scene action, some cavity searches, and lots of lonely time behind bars ripe for the experimentation of two bored bimbos. Maybe I’ve just seen two many pornos.

Matty D has been back in the studio and has another hot track spinning on the show currently. Be sure to check it out, and join us tonight at 7pm on 105.9 WCKG!
