Hello again everybody from beautiful Hawaii. My sources on the mainland tell me that it’s raining a great deal back in Chicago, so I feel a little apprehensive about rubbing Hawaii in your face. That being said; here goes. I’m sitting on the lanai right now (that’s Hawaiian for patio) with my brother Mike, enjoying some delicious Kona blend coffee. Seems kind of gay really, if he weren’t my brother… The view you see above is ours, taken with my computer’s built in camera.

Yesterday we went diving at Molokini Crater, which is a big crescent shaped volcanic formation off the coast of Maui. On our way out to the crater, we encountered a pod of about 50-60 dolphins that began swimming along side our boat, giving us a perfect view of their rubbery goodness. Some of them, mainly the little guys, even took to some acrobatics leaping out of the water as if they were trained at Sea World.

The dives were awesome. Our first expedition was on the inside of the crater with a bottom time of about 50 minutes and a maximum depth of 75 feet. Yep. Sorry for whipping it out on you, but SCUBA is definitely sexy. For the second dive, we hit up a sunken fishing vessel a little bit closer to shore that was about 60 feet deep. We were actually able to swim inside the ship, and up into an air pocket where we could remove our regulators and have a conversation 60 feet below sea level. Pretty wild. Also inside the ship was a giant sea turtle, probably about 3-4 feet in diameter.
I pet his shell, and he bobbed his head at me. There was definitely a connection.

Following the diving expedition, the family, including Pat’s fiancé Rachel, went over to Whaler’s Village where we enjoyed a delicious meal on the beach right as the sun was setting. It was truly a perfect day, and I wish you could all be here to enjoy it too. Who knows, maybe someday we can bring OUR show over here. Hey, it could happen.

Hey everyone. Just a friendly reminder that we are off this week, and the voices you hear at night are not ours. I’m in Maui this week with my family enjoying some of the most beautiful scenery on earth. I just got back from doing a little surfing at a cove up the street, and tomorrow morning my dad, Pat, Mike, and I are going to be diving a couple of the local reefs. Needless to say, things are pretty damn sweet here. Hope everything is great back in Chicago, and we can’t wait to get back on the air come Monday. Talk to you then!

Well…I did it. Sunday marked the last day of my DePaul University commitments as I walked across the stage at Allstate Arena, and received my diploma from the Hollywood Priest. I call him that because he has made that slightly grown out stubble look part of his image, which seems a little bizarre for a man of the cloth. It’s not like that’s going to get him any ladies, but I guess it might possibly set him up with some young…well, never mind. There were no pyrotechnics, smoke machines, or inflatable Blue Demon heads from which I got to run out; but after all the graduates received their diplomas, there was a pretty sweet laser light show. I apologize for the quality of the picture, but it is a screen grab from my eldest brother, Pat, who was watching over the Internet in California. Now that’s a good brother...sitting through a three hour ceremony half way across the country when he could have just as easily ignored the whole thing. Hell, if I could have skipped it, I probably would. I’ll have more details from the big day tonight at 7pm, so be sure to join us then!

We definitely did some partying down at the Pearl Room in Mokena this weekend, complete with a badass limo from My Chauffeur (which we managed to get through the White Castle late night). This is some footage from an Akon show in New York in which he picks a kid up from the audience, and hurls him towards some other unsuspecting fans. I know Akon is an advocate of 'smacking that', but this seems like a harsh smack, or toss, or shotput.
