This sucks. I know these rumors have been swirling for years but come on! They finally got it right and now the powers that be are throwing it away. I, too, was an all-day listener...what am I going to do now? If this is station is supposedly moving toward fulfilling a female demographic, well, I just don't get it. I'm in that demo and I don't want it. I want some testosterone terrestrial radio. Hopefully, you boys will find yourselves a new home. . .hang in there.

Very sad to hear about the whole format change at CKG. Only your dad could introduce and inspire an entire FM talk station, and it's always my first stop on the dial when I get in the car. I've loved your show from the beginning - even got my 11 year old son listening!

Jesus. You guys are the only new, interesting, entertaining thing on Chicago radio. who runs these stations? Chicago Radio is an embarrassment and you guys were one of the only high points. I HOPE that means somebody else will put you on the air pronto, but apparently common sense and reason are not involved in radio programming these days. Boo, and i don't mean that in a Halloween kinda way.

CKG sucks! and I am a woman between 25 and 40. I listened that that station all day. I loved every minute of it since Garry started in the mornings. My kids referred to Steve as Uncle Steve. I will miss Brendan's voice immensely. Will check back here for updates.

My husband and I will miss listening to your show. I thought "the package" had a great thing going - I listened all day long. Finally, after all that moving around they ended with a great line-up. Supposedly, WCKG will be targeting a female and/or Spanish audience, but I won't be listening. I'm 29, female, Hispanic - right in their target market. Why didn't they make the last day Sunday since the last Townstone Financial show is Saturday and Ron and Tim's House talk is being advertised as coming on Sunday. Oh well. After losing the last station that I like in the Chicago market, I have officially decided to switch to satalite radio. I actually bought my radio and had it installed today. I am from Chicago but go to school in Iowa and have been out of the loop for the past week due to midterms and projects. I just found out about the format switch today when i went to tune in over the internet. I have not been this depressed and angry since Family Guy got canceled. You guys should try out for the morning shift on Q101 since they just pulled the plug on their morning team because they want to focus more on music. With your musical knowledge, etc, you and Brendan would be a perfect fit for that station! That would be awesome!

It's been hard not hearing you guys every night. I have been listening since you started and loved the show ever since. It's almost like your radio show was a new version of your dad's. i am so pissed that you guys are off the air - i actually would work late just to hear you guys around 7 on the drive home. now - i leave work at 5.

After yet another hour and a half drive home on the Kennedy tonight, I really miss listening to you and Brendan. I like music as much as the next person, but seriously, it's the same stuff all the time. You guys made me laugh and that made the drive a little more bearable. I hope to hear you both on the radio again, soon.
