Joe Crede's Walk-Off RBI

I captured this video last night from my seat at the White Sox game. Joe Crede knocks a single to score Carlos Quentin from 2nd base, and the White Sox win in walk-off style in the bottom of the ninth. This video is not at all meant to piss off Cubs fans, even though you can hear our sweet victory song, Thunderstruck, which I still say is WAY cooler than Go Cubs Go, quite possibly the lamest song not only in baseball, but maybe even history. It was just about 11:30pm due to rain delay, and the score was still tied 6-6. With a man on second, Joe Clutch Crede steps to the plate and delivers this...I just thought it was a sweet baseball moment I happened to capture on film, so I figured I'd share.

**If you click on the video window, and load the actual youtube page, you can watch this video in High Quality!!

Also, as promised, here is the video of Devin Hester eating chicken. This is quite possibly the creepiest video I've ever produced.

A Magical Morton's Moment

mortonsbday.jpg

Hey everyone. Here is the picture I spoke of on today's show. You can see all the wine glasses lined up, pre me chugging them all. If you don't know what I'm talking about, listen to today's podcast! There's even something about the handwriting around the picture that really turns me on. It just has that cute, crafty girl with good penmanship feeling written all over it, and I've always liked that. Nothing like a lady with a steady hand. Dinner kicked ass, and so did the birthday. Thanks to all of you for the kind words!

New York and Boston Get a Room

After decades of sexual tension that has reached throbbing new heights in recent years, New York and Boston finally gave into temptation Sunday evening at the conclusion of another highly flirtatious three-game series between the Yankees and Red Sox. New York and Boston “got it on” at seedy motel while Bristol, Connecticut watched.
“I know it was wrong, but it was wicked good,” said Boston native Tommy O’Dooligan. O’Dooligan also commented on the size of New York’s Bronx, describing it as “freakin’ huge”. The circumstances that made the hookup irresistible started when Boston left its shirt strategically placed in New York’s new dressing room. New York found it and dug it up. “Boston has always been such a f’n tease. Am I right or what? Fuggetaboutit,” said New York’s Joey Trucko. “It’s a small city but it’s hot in the summertime. You know what I'm talkin' about. Aayyyy.” Several references to the Pedro Martinez “Yankees are my daddy” quote could be heard through the walls during the passionate session. Afterwards, the two drove off separately, but left the door open for another tryst, should any minor coincidence or controversy cause ESPN to spend 48 minutes of a 60-minute SportsCenter reminding everyone that the two franchises share a history.

Happy Tax Day!

Hey everyone. It's my birthday today(yay me!), so my dad is taking me to the sox game at US Cellular field. I can't imagine a better way to spend a birthday, and I was even lucky enough to go last night. It was pretty crazy actually, and you can hear all about it on today's show. We did the show live at 11am this morning, but the podcast is available here, in the podcast section, or you can subscribe in iTunes!

This photo was captured by my friend Eric Rejman last night from our seats at the game.

Weather Woes

22845855.jpg
I just woke up not too long ago, and I'm already feeling like it's one of those days. It's rainy and cold outside, there's gum in my hair, and I slipped on skateboard while getting out of bed. Okay, so not all of those things are true, but I read a book that went like that once. I think the the source of my melancholy also has something to do with the White Sox game last night. My brother, Mike, was nice enough to invite me to the Comcast Sportsnet Box, which kicked ass. Unfortunately, the game did not. The Twins served up a 5-12 beating over the sox, and I know it's still incredibly early in the season, and we should be allowed to lose one game a week, but it still hurts! I saw the Cubs finally got it done in the 15th inning last night, so I guess kudos to them. However, you know as a Sox fan, that only makes it harder.

We still had a great time at the game, and I especially enjoy hanging out with Mike's co-workers. Not unlike myself, they also enjoy giving him a hard time, so it's like hanging out in a box with 8 other brothers, all teaming up on Mike Dahl. All it took was one call from his girlfriend to spawn the "Mike just got engaged" rumors, and before we knew it, Mike's co-worker Joe was pouring us all a glass of Korbel Champagne. They really take a joke far, what with the bubbly and all, but you've got to respect the dedication and commitment to the gag. I received major accolades when I was able to sniff out the recent delivery of chicken tenders all the way from the front row, with an open window! As the unemployed guy there last night, I definitely went to town on those tenders, some hotdogs, chips and dip, and several cold beers, earning me the title of "homeless". It's probably apt.

Hey everyone. You may have noticed, hopefully you did, that there was no show or podcast Friday. We apologize for this serious lapse in your quality entertainment, but Brendan and I were tending to some other duties.

You see, this Sunday, April 6, we are going to be doing a live show on The Killer Bee, B96. Yes, that's right. 7-10am, this Sunday. Join us as we inevitably 'crank out the hits', and hopefully take a major step towards getting our show back on the airwaves. Hope you can join us!
