We had a lot of fun doing the show tonight, and I felt a little bit like a bottle of soda that has been shaken for a month or so, and someone finally pulled the top off today. We had a lot of catching up to do, Brendan and I, and we both miss doing the show on a more regular basis. We're working on that, I assure you.
After the show we got to see Mike Phelps win his third gold medal of the 2008 Summer games. The games started three days ago, and this dude's already got three medals. I felt good about myself because I actually picked up my dog's crap this morning, instead of just faking it and then putting the empty plastic bag back in my pocket. Then I see this guy who is the same age as me showering in gold like a girl in an alleged R. Kelly video, and I feel more like the crap I left sitting under that bush this afternoon. Oh well, that chlorine is going to wreak havoc on his hair.
